Warehouse Design Brief: Optimise warehouse storage capacity for packaging materials.

Warehouse Storage Solution Overview: Having established our client’s requirements for a more efficient warehouse racking system, Linear designed and produced drawings for the revised pallet racking layout project.

The packaging materials were previously stored in an old drive-in system for which parts had become very difficult to source.

All the existing drive-in racking was replaced with double deep pallet racking. Double deep racking is ideal for storing multiple quantities of the same product.

Pallets are stored two rows deep and accessed with a specialist forklift truck with extending forks.

Installing double deep racking improved both the selectivity and storage capacity compared to the old system. It also allows for the use of timber decking for varied pallet sizes. In addition, components for any add-ons or repairs are readily available.

We supplied used Link racking in excellent condition to match the existing equipment on site.
