Pallet Racking

Features of Pallet Racking

Pallet racking is a flexible industrial storage solution designed to be configured in various ways. We will help you choose the right type of pallet racking system for your needs depending on:

  • The type of goods, weight, height and pallet sizes to be stored
  • The amount of floor space and headroom available for the racking installation
  • The speed of throughput and picking rates
  • The type of materials handling equipment used

We recommend arranging an on-site meeting so we can assess your requirements.

The most common warehouse racking options include wide aisle, narrow aisle, very narrow aisle and double deep. You can learn more about each type below.

Wide Aisle Pallet Racking

Access each pallet using counter-balance and reach trucks with this conventional racking layout.

Features & Benefits:

  • 100% selectivity – provides full access to pallets
  • Allows the use of standard counter-balance and reach trucks
  • Aisle dimensions are commonly 2.8m – 3.5m
  • Lift heights up to 9.0m with reach trucks or 6.0m with counter-balance trucks
