Client: Smiths Metal Centres
As well as assembling and supplying tool kits and specialist fasteners to the aerospace and defence industries, this well-known metal distribution company handle stock inventory for their customers.

Design Brief: To provide a range of robust and reliable storage solutions for various materials used in the metal supply industry.
This client approached us earlier in the year to discuss the best way to fit out their warehouse service centre.
We were delighted to propose and install the following storage solutions.
Cantilever Racking
Cantilever racking is a system specifically designed for the safe and organised storage of long and heavy loads. An effective and efficient alternative to conventional lighter weight storage solutions, this is ideal for storing lengths of metal as required by the client.
Pallet Racking
Linear extended existing pallet racking and installed two new bays of racking fitted with timber decking. Pallet racking offers a simple but flexible option which was perfect for this situation.
Safety Barriers
In addition to end of run protection, we installed a 4-sided metal barrier to protect the central blockwork column.
